What makes Retracted different?

 

Our small family run company uses qualified carpenters, who only do a couple of jobs per day, where we allow enough time to get our retractable screens perfect! (Unlike bigger companies focused on volume). Using trained carpenters also means we’re equipped to go the extra mile, e.g to rebate a floor or deck to allow your screen to sit perfectly flush where necessary. Our focus is to ensure a fantastic result your happy with!

 

Why use pleated screens?

 

Not only do pleated screens look great, they are by far the most affordable retractable screen on the market. They’re also relatively inexpensive to replace the mesh if damaged, as they can be quickly repaired without removing the frame itself. Our retractable pleated screens also have a slim minimal frame which blends in better than flat rolling screens which require a bulky casing to house the mesh. Additionally the mesh is slightly more visible, which means less chance of people & animals accidentally walking into them.

How much does it cost?

 

Our pleated screens generally start from $850 e.g. for  small French doors, and get more expensive based on size and difficulty to install, our average is around $1000 incl gst. If you follow the details on our submission form we will give you an accurate price range before scheduling a measure up.

 

What colours do they come in?

 

Our standard screen comes in black, white and monument. If you require a specific colour we can powder coat our screen to perfectly match your existing doors for an extra $130 per screen. You can choose any Dulux Powder Coating colour here https://duluxpowders.com.au/colour/

 

Does it come with a warranty?

 

Our screens come with a 7 year warranty on fixed parts, and 1 year on moving parts. However our manufacturer has a dedicated service team should you ever require a repair in the future (e.g. if your pet damages the mesh and you need it repaired).

 

What is the turn around time?

 

Generally we are installing 3-4 weeks after receiving deposit for order!

 

Maintenance?

 

To ensure longevity it’s best to keep the screen retracted when not in use to protect the mesh. If screen gets stiff clean track with damp cloth and & spray track with lubricating substance (e.g. wd40 silicon spray). Use a mico-fibre cloth or similar to gently clean mesh!

No, unless your screen was installed by us.
